I was introduced to Photography by my dad when I was about 10 years old. I will always remember the first time that I saw a picture appear out of nothing in the developing tray in our makeshift darkroom, it fuelled an interest in making images that has been very much part of my life ever since.
At the age of 11 I got my first camera a Kodak Brownie 127, My first serious camera was a Russian Zenith B SLR which I used for many years. I spent part of my first University grant on a Praktika LTL and then a number of Pentax K's. Since 1987 I have used Canon EOS cameras and now use several of the latest Digital SLR's. I also own more lenses and camera bags than you can shake a stick at!
There are not many things that I won't photograph although I have had most success with Travel Photography and I have been a finalist in the Wanderlust Travel Photographer of the year 4 times. Rock Band Photography is another major interest where I have provided many pictures for bands that have been used for CD and DVD releases and published in magazines and web sites all over the world. I am a regular speaker at Camera Clubs and societies.
My latest Photographic interests are in studio fashion and glamour photography something that I have wanted to do for many years but always found an excuse for not doing. Some have said that its the arrival of my mid-life crisis...........

My dad sadly died in June 2009 he was one of the biggest fans and critics of my photography. Whenever I have new pictures I still wonder what he would have said about them. I'll never know, so I will leave it up to you, the visitors to my site.
